How does annual billing work?
Annual Pro is billed once at $99 per year. That saves $45 compared with paying $12 each month — 30%.
What exactly does Pro unlock?
The complete workbench runs free on your computer. Pro is for staying connected to it: an end-to-end encrypted tunnel lets you check on running agents, approve permission requests, and start new sessions from your phone or any other device, with your workspaces synced across up to 5 machines. Pro also includes release previews and custom themes.
Do I have to pay for commercial use?
No. You are not required to pay to use Recursive for work, however if your organization relies on Recursive we encourage you to get in touch about Teams to keep Recursive independent and user-supported.
What is your refund policy?
Try the complete local product free before subscribing. Pro subscriptions can be canceled anytime; access continues through the current billing period. Payments for the current term are non-refundable.
How do I get my license key?
After checkout we email your license key from [email protected] — there's no account, the key is your credential. Paste it into Settings → License to activate. Lost it? Recover your license and we'll resend it to the email you used at checkout.
Do you store, access, or process user data?
Recursive keeps your code, sessions, and project data on hardware you control. Data leaves only when you choose to call a connected provider, use an external tool, enable end-to-end encrypted remote access, or configure sync.
